Employer Advice Line for disability and health-related questions

Free service helps employers manage and support staff with disabilities or health conditions.

The Employer Advice Line, 0800 805 405, means employers can ask any questions they might have about how best to manage and support new or existing employees with health conditions or disabilities.

Most disabled people and people with health conditions need no or little support – and generally the best option is to talk to the person directly, but the Employer Advice Line can help if you do have questions or want to know what supports or services are available.

This advice is free for all employers, and is available Monday – Friday, 8:30-5:00pm. The Employer Advice Line is not designed to provide advice around HR related matters.

This service is funded by the Ministry of Social Development to support disabled people and people with health conditions find and stay in work.
